Full Moons and Fiery Fashions

Back in the US and New York City, this weeks heat wave provided the perfect opportunity for people on the street to bare all and dress cool. The Highline created a catwalk for striking stripes with an amazing backdrop of exotic flowers. Ending a hot day on the rivers edge with a beautiful view of the water and a sunset reflection created a cooler atmosphere to relax on the hot day.

Sun hats, fans, and umbrellas provided some protection from the hot sun as well as chic dresses with lace and cutout backs which created extra ventilation.

Nautical stripes were the perfect choice for a hot day

Stripes in bright red too could be seen on the street

Despite the heat, long flowy dresses looked elegant and cool

Polka dots in light blue and beige were clean and cheerful

The heat didn't seem to effect the blossoming of flowers along the Highline Park in the meat packing disctrict

Dresses in graffiti prints and bright colors made a bold statement

Eclectic accessories could not be overlooked

Sitting by the cool water finished off a lovely day
