#7 Trunk Shows

For centuries trunk shows have played a major role in the fashion industry, creating a more intimate environment for customers of particular stores to get an exclusive showing of a particular designer. In a way, it is a made-to-order fashion show for those that do not live in an area with a fashion week as big as that of New York. This particular video is of the Alexander McQueen trunk show on November 24th, 2010 and it is clear that while professional, the show is much less intimidating than those of fashion week.

#6 Video

This is a promotional video from November 2010 when Lanvin did a collaboration with H&M. The video is extremely thought provoking with an interesting plot, replacing dialogue with speech bubbles and whispers, almost like a live comic fashion comic strip. The video may be strange but nevertheless, entertaining to say the least.

#5 Color Trend

In regards to the up and coming colors of Spring/Summer 2012, baked brights seem to be seducing the eye of fashionistas both on and off the runway as these playful Pantones project next seasons colors. Following the array of colors are people dressed in the full spectrum of next season.
