On a lazy Sunday in Paris, street style was not at it's best. There were some notable trends, however street art was really the star. We wandered down side streets all day snapping photos of beautiful art and even more beautiful flowers and scenery. We encountered an art flea market with ceramic, painted, eiffel towers and stopped at a cemetery too for eerily beautiful photographs. We ended the day of beauty with a quick stroll by the Notre Dame Cathedral at sunset; nothing can top the exquisite beauty of the rose windows, flying buttresses, and pointed arches that define Gothic architecture.
A Parisian take on a Hitchcock classic, "The Birds"
Such unique, hand made art
Overall, there were a lot of different patterns on the street today in many different forms; dresses, shirts, pants, coats, and skirts
Given the fluctuating weather, many wore scarves to keep their necks, heads, and shoulders warm
Hermes scarves can be worn in many different ways; this young lady was creative and wore hers as a cape |
Burberry as usual, peeked its way out on coat linings, scarves, and slightly more dominate was the signature plaid decorating a pair of pants
Red skirts under white blazers and jackets was definitely a trend
Interesting sandals wound their way up these women's legs
Brown accents as usual were something to be noticed, the different shades matching the chimney stacks
Black, always a staple
One of the main trends on the street were different shades of pink that popped up in bags, skirts, scarves, and even a perky pair of pink pants
Probably the biggest trend of the day was interesting graphics printed on t-shirts, and more surprisingly, on skirts and hats
The stunning Notre Dame
